Holes in the wall (cafe secrets uncovered)

On the edge of your seat to discover the second installment of our earlier blog Hidden Panels and Cafe Secrets? We'll put your mind at ease.

There's a HOLE IN THE WALL! Yep, that weird brickwork does indeed appear to be hollow.

For those who missed the earlier installment, you're probably wondering what on earth this has to do with roasting coffee? Fair enough.

A hole in the wall means that there may have been a chimney within the wall. If so, we'll be able to save a load of piping and effort to get the exhaust pipe sorted. Great news when every extra metre and corner matters.

'Great, sounds easy!' I said... Doug Graf laughed. I have a feeling I'll be taught a few lessons in extreme DIY over the coming week.

Until then.

Yours in coffee,

Attie
